Cristos de Vereda Series (2000-2001)

Crucial stage in my plastic research, especially in the field of texture.

The mixing of materials, the preparation of funds and the chemical reactions are a fundamental part  of this series.

A stage in my life that I will never forget. I had been away from home for almost 5 months to live in Otavalo-Ecuador. My family there lent me their  affection and a space away from the house so that he can paint. These paintings taught me to be consistent and to respect my schedule in the workshop.  In addition, the central composition and the lines always reaching the edge of the painting were becoming constant vital in my pictorial search.
