Signatures Series (2016-2018)

I make signatures. The signature, the seal of each individual. The "Signature" series was born when I realized that my eternal quest to achieve this abstract was simpler than I thought. First; should stop fighting and always row against the current. Second; I realized that one of the most common acts of today's Western people, signing a document, hides the transcendental key to forever changing my line. Signing is an intentional impulse to move your hand and be completely authentic. Therefore; I have maintained for some years the thesis that anyone could paint a painting that is "authentic." Speaking purely in terms of individual expression, regardless of the subject matter or much less "contemporaneity." In the series "Signatures" I experiment with expanding this small moment of signing our personal scribble on a document; extending it in time and space to the entire painting.
