My second passage through the Faculty of Plastic Arts of the Central University of Ecuador was fruitful and with a much clearer vision of the entire horizon that dedicating to being a painter refers to.

Being a student means many things: friends, camaraderie, grades, discipline, immersing yourself in new ways of thinking ... letting yourself be carried away by the wave. 

I was a dedicated and always focused student; I was already 25 years old and I wasn't testing. Finishing the race and making the most of the experience was my only goal.

Due to the classical tendency that the Faculty had in those years, my approach to the human figure and the portrait was very marked; This clearly showed me the runway towards what would eventually become my field of expertise:

painting as a profession and proposal, the human being and the portrait.
